Colorado Saddlery was founded in 1945 by four young saddle makers in Denver, Colorado. These young men had been working for the world famous, Denver based HH Heiser Saddle Co. It was there where they learned the saddle making craft from men who had built saddles for cowboys who rode the open range and had trailed the great herds of cattle north into Colorado. These young saddle makers were determined to carry that tradition forward into the post-World War II era.
